Just outside of town, and the first stop before hitting the rental returns. Grab an ice cream or a sandwich before you turn those puppies in. The food is great and better than that McDonald’s on the way down the mountain.
The wait staff is fantastic! The beer list is magical, (not driving) and the fried deviled eggs are NOT to me missed.

Good location right along the Creeper and Appalachian trails, nice outdoor seating at picnic tables, there is nothing special about the burger just a frozen burger patty, but the curly side fries are good.

Had lunch/dinner here on Monday 9/7/2020 after 3 days of backpacking. We were ready for some "real food" and we definitely brought our appetites, LOL!!!!! The Fried Deviled Eggs and Fried Mushrooms are the best I have ever had! The Coop Burger and The Bacon Cheeseburger definitely hit the spot. We will be back to eat here again. They were also dog friendly with outdoor seating under a beautiful tree canopy.

Stopped after our ride down the Creeper Trail of course! Great outdoor seating. Live music was awesome and not too loud. Got the jalapeño popper dip and the wicked chicken sandwich - both really good! Our server wasn't the friendliest and took a bit to get back to us for more drinks, but overall great experience.

Stopped here after our ride down the Creeper Trail Saturday. We had taken an early shuttle so that put my group at the restaurant around 12:00pm. The band was starting to set up and sounded great when they started playing.
The food arrived quickly and was delicious!! The waitress suggested the local Honey Mango beer from the Demascus Brewery. It was crisp and refreshing! Would definitely recommend stopping for lunch here!!

Wings were fantastic and beer was welcomed. Service was excellent given how busy they were and I loved the picnic tables outside. Another big plus were the Covid-19 protections to include wearing masks.

Great fun place to eat and have ice cream. Live music on certain days. Food is pricey. This is not a swanky kind of place. That is part of the charm, but they do charge swanky prices for their food. 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 children had a final bill of near $90 for a mid-afternoon meal and a one scoop ice cream dessert. Mind you we were seated outside on benches and picnic table with bees and ants scurrying around us. Still, I will go back for both the food and the entertainment, but will likely just be two of us.

Had lunch here. Motorcyclists, bicycles and kids there for the ice cream. Live music was great. I ordered a local dish that was great with a microbrew beer.

Super accommodating and friendly staff. They helped take care of our dog with treats and a water bowl. All of the staff were friendly and helping us to move around as rain kept us from outside. I definitely recommend this place for visiting or traveling groups.

Dry rub Cajun wings were delicious! Finished up with Key Lime pie ice cream which was also great. Service was great.. Even with the Covid restrictions, I would still recommend the Wicked Chicken!

I highly, highly recommend that you visit the Wicked Chicken. The food is great and the space is cute and comfortable, but the reason the Wicked Chicken blows every other restaurant out of the water is their service, or more specifically, Amanda.
My mom, sister, and I stopped at Wicked Chicken at the end of a 5 day backpacking trip. They had everything we were dreaming about while backpacking – beer, big salads, and ice cream – and they were all delicious! While we were eating, our waitress, Amanda, came by and warned us that it was about to start raining so that we could rescue our backpacks, which were sitting outside. Sure enough, it did start raining. While we were trying to decide whether we should wait out the storm or just get soaked walking across town to our hostel, Amanda came by again and offered us a ride! Amanda’s husband happened to be there eating lunch, and he offered to drive us to the hostel so that we could avoid a soggy hike. Amanda and her husband saved both our packs and ourselves from getting drenched. We were so grateful for their kindness and generosity!

Nice place. Have to be honest. Judging by the signage I expected something edgy but it's really cutesie country like, nicey nice dining. Had a good chicken sandwich that wasn't wicked but hot enough when requested. The wings were great. Went dry rub, Cajun. Really good fries too. Friendly staff. Ice cream to wrap up your visit too.

I really enjoyed having dinner here with my son. I got the Cuban and it was amazing, the curly fries were really good and didn'tlast long on the table. Our server was very attentive and super helpful when my 2 yo made a special request for chocolate milk. The old house turned restaurant creates the perfect atmosphere for this small town Tavern. I hope to return soon.

I love the atmosphere, the deck and have been back a few times and never disappointed! The food is awesome, love the bar selections but mostly love that it’s dog friendly so I can get something on the deck with the dog, while the kids have ice cream or great kids menu to choose from!

Not only was the food AMAZING (those honey hot wings), the staff was just as great. The atmosphere is perfect for a family dinner, which is SO important to us, as we have a 3 year old. We were beyond pleased with our experience, and will most definitely be back! Like, all the time ;)

We have been twice now and have enjoyed ourselves both times. The wings are delicious, and I especially enjoyed the hot wings and the Sriracha wings. The house salad was very big and had lots of green lettuce. The wait staff was very sweet and helpful, and it did not take long for our food to come out.

The coke-a-cola bone in wings were amazing! They just melt in your mouth! My daughter had the loaded potato skins and you could make a meal out of them, yum! My son ate his huge basic burger in about 3 minutes! We will be back soon!
